HPL Fenix Grigio Londra 0718 steel

High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) is an innovative material made from paper and thermosetting resin. This thin layer of HPL is laminated onto a thick layer of HDF.

The material is resistant to wear, scratches, and impacts, and therefore lasts a very long time.

Sustainability
HDF (High Density Fibreboard) is a relatively sustainable material. It consists of pressed wood fibers, sourced from responsible forestry with PEFC certification. However, due to the large amount of binder used in HDF, it is not very environmentally friendly and difficult to recycle.

HPL Fenix Properties

  • Ultra-matte surface that feels soft to the touch
  • Anti-fingerprint
  • Water-repellent
  • Self-healing top layer: superficial scratches can be repaired by friction heat
