High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) is an innovative material made from paper and thermosetting resin. This thin layer of HPL is laminated onto a thick layer of HDF.

The material is resistant to wear, scratches, and impact, making it very durable.

Sustainability
HDF (High-Density Fibreboard) is a relatively sustainable material. It consists of pressed wood fibers, sourced from responsible forestry with PEFC certification. However, due to the significant amount of binder used in HDF, it is not very environmentally friendly and difficult to recycle.
