FAQ - How do you choose the perfect dining table?
From choosing the size, shape, design, and finish – there's a lot involved in putting together the centrepiece of your dining setup. To help you find the perfect dining table for your interior, we've compiled the answers to your most frequently asked questions.
What dining table shapes do you have in your collection?
We have round, rectangular, oval, flat oval, and organically shaped table tops. So whether you're looking for a table for a large or small space, or whatever your personal style, there's always one that suits you.
How much space should I leave around my dining table?
The dining table is an important part of your interior and can help give a room a spacious feel and look. Leave 70-80 cm between the dining table and the wall so you have enough space to sit comfortably. If you want to be able to walk around the dining table when guests are seated, leave 90 cm.
Which dining table is most suitable for small spaces?
If you have a square or rectangular room, we recommend a round dining table. This draws attention to a central point and creates an intimate atmosphere. If your room is long and narrow, choose a rectangular or flat oval table top to emphasise the length of the space.
Which dining table is most suitable for a large space?
For larger rooms with plenty of space, an oval dining table can be a good way to soften the room with its gentle curves. Or choose the unique Blob table top for a more organic look.
How high are your dining tables?
The frames of our dining tables have a standard height of 71 cm. With a 3 cm table top, the table will be 74 cm. If you choose a 4 cm top, it will be 75 cm.
How long should my dining table be?
The lengths of our table tops vary from 160 to 300 cm. Determine how many chairs you want and consider the size of the room to find the perfect length. If you want a table with a different length, please contact our customer service for more information.
How many chairs fit around my dining table?
Our dining tables are suitable for 2 to 12 people, depending on the size and shape you choose. A convenient feature of many of our designs is that you can choose the position of the frame under the top yourself. We have provided examples of round tables, rectangular tables, and oval tables that easily show the ratio between chairs, lengths, and frame positions.
